Webinar: Advocacy Update from the AAP Response Team

Join WIND on July 11th at 7:00 pm EST for a webinar update on the AAP Response Project.

During this webinar, attendees will learn about the AAP Response Project Team that has been convening since January 2023 to respond to the American Academy of Pediatrics Clinical Practice Guideline for the Evaluation and Treatment of Childhood O*****y that was released that same month.

Attendees will hear directly from members of the team about the multi-faceted ways people can engage in grassroots advocacy. They will guide attendees through the process of creating three deliverables that were produced over the 6 month period, which includes:

• Indexing the 800+ references and conducting a selective research review
  
• Conducting a comprehensive environmental scan of all of the responses related to the release of the Guideline, and 
  
• Developing a sign on letter. 

Participants who register for the webinar will be able to leverage these resources in their own advocacy efforts against the implementation of the Guideline.

Finally, webinar attendees will learn additional ways to become involved in other WIND advocacy initiatives, including the benefits of being a member.
